About Us

Yingling Yoga specializes in functional movement: unique, customized therapeutic sequences for students looking to gain strength and flexibility and to heal from chronic pain.

Our classes take into account how everything in the body is connected and nothing truly acts in isolation. Our goal is to educate the body and "show" it that there is a more efficient way to move without excessive compensation.

We respect many different aspects of the body from the nervous system all the way down to muscle fiber and bone positioning. Our classes usually include postural drills to realign the body and create stability from which to move into more traditional yoga poses with ease.

We work with goal-oriented students who like to laugh and work hard. And we’re not afraid of past injuries, artificial joints, or other unique body situations.
